Rick MacLean

Rick has been a Member of the Professional Golfers Association of Australia (PGA) since 1982.


Rick started his golf as a junior at Wyong Golf Club, aged 12, then Belmont Golf Club where he then went onto do his golf professional traineeship under the well respected Paul Robertson.


In 1982, at age 20, Rick was appointed Head Golf Professional at Beresfield Golf Course which is a public golf course situated on the western boundary of the City of Newcastle.


In 2007 Rick moved to Newcastle Golf Practice Centre full time to focus more on his coaching and retired from Beresfield Golf Course the same year.


Rick attends seminars on a regular basis to keep up to speed on whats happening and developing in the golf industry.
