Visiting Newcastle Golf Practice Centre for the first time can be a bit confusing with the Bypass.
If travelling NORTH on the Bypass, take the Newcastle exit and follow the signs to Newcastle and onto Sandgate Road.
The entrance to the Driving Range is the first left turn. Stay on this road and continue through the front gates and under the new freeway for approximately 500m. You will then arrive at Newcastle Golf Practice Centre.
If you are travelling along Maitland Road, turn into Wallsend Road at the intersection, near Sandgate Cemetry. Follow this road for approximately 700m. The range entrance road is the first right turn you will come to.
Newcastle Golf Practice Centre (NGPC) is Newcastle’s comprehensive golf driving range and practice facility. Open to the public and currently specialising in short-game and general technique.
